National All-Star Lineup

  •

Lubbock, Texas – The College Baseball Foundation and Diamond Sports are proud to bring you this week’s “National All-Star Lineup”.  This week, we celebrate with Ohio State University as they commemorate 125 years of college baseball with a weekend tribute.  We also honor the memory of Larry Shanks and his contributions to the Arkansas baseball program as the longtime public address announcer.  Pitchers dominate this week’s lineup with several stellar gem performances.  The Wichita State tandem of Rob Musgrave and Aaron Shafer combined for 23 strikeouts giving the Shockers the edge in the battle of the conference frontrunners. Kenn Kesparek entered the Texas record books as the only pitcher in school history to face the minimum 27 hitters.  Kyle Conley of Washington had an outstanding performance at the plate as he hit .800 in a three game weekend series.  See the full College Baseball Foundation and Diamond Sport’s "National All-Star Lineup" below.
