OLE MISS DONATES BALL TO HALL OF FAME

  • A ball used by Ole Miss junior pitcher Drew Pomeranz in his seven-inning, 15-strikeout performance against Oakland University is headed to the College Baseball Hall of Fame in Lubbock, Texas. Pomeranz allowed only one run on four hits with no walks in the win. His 15 strikeouts were one less than the Ole Miss school record.

The Hall of Fame has collected artifacts from outstanding performances on the college diamond in each of the last three years. The items will be archived and displayed at the College Baseball Awards Show in July, other venues around the nation promoting college baseball, and eventually in the College Baseball Hall of Fame when construction is completed.

We send a special “thank you” to the many schools that have sent memorabilia to the College Baseball Hall of Fame. If your school or players have standout performances throughout the year, send autographed equipment, media guides, pictures, etc. to the following address to be displayed as part of the College Baseball Hall of Fame exhibits.
