LUBBOCK, Texas – The College Baseball Foundation will host its inaugural fundraising event, “A Night at the Races,” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7 at the Merket Alumni Center on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock.
“A Night at the Races” will feature simulcast horse racing and “Derby money” wagering. Prizes will be awarded for the evening’s top winners and there also will be a silent auction featuring travel packages and sports-themed items.
Individual tickets are $50 and include open bar, desserts and “Derby money.” Jockey Club memberships are $500 and include a table of eight and additional “Derby money.
Proceeds will support the CBF’s mission of preserving and promoting all levels of college baseball.
